Arch Acres' goal is to promote and continue to improve Texas Longhorn cattle. We take care to plan breedings, provide high-quality feeds and supplements as well, and work with our cattle to produce quality animals with good temperaments. We raise longhorns because we enjoy the colors, horns, temperament, calving ease, and the beauty of seeing them graze in the pastures. 

Arch Acres began in 1999 with 5 longhorns and grew to a herd with over 70 registered longhorns.  Due to retirement, we have downsized to our favorite females from our 22+ years of raising longhorn cattle and a new herd sire Jest Hangin' Tuff out of M.C. Hangin' Tuff X Jest Dragging Iron born 4/26/2021.

We are lifetime members of both the TLBAA (Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America) and ITLA (International Texas Longhorn Association). We are founding members of the MTLA (Midwest Texas Longhorn Association) which is an affiliate of ITLA based in Indiana and surrounding states. The MTLA holds a qualifying show for the ITLA Convention and  National Show. Our qualifying show will be held in Greencastle, IN on June 8th, 2024 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. Throughout our 25-plus years, we have had several different herd sires.   SHR Wow's Ace has been a proven producer with genetics, size, color, horn, and disposition. We have retained his females from 2021 through 2023 so Wow will be present in our herd for years to come. Wow has a wonderful new home in Texas at M3 Ranch.

Our new herd sire, Jest Hangin' Tuff, adds M.C. Hangin' Tuff, Cowboy Tuff Chex, Cowboy Chex, CV Cowboy Casanova, Drag Iron, WS Jamakizm, Over Kill, and Jester genetics to our program. We are proud to offer quality calves out of industry leading genetics!

Upon arriving you will see a log home and barns with green metal roofs.  There is a longhorn sign at the lane entrance at the bottom of the wooded hill. During warm weather, the cows will be out front in the pastures. During winter time they will be in the back lot.
